This section of the Trans Canada Trail winds its way through the town of Battleford and crosses the North Saskatchewan River before traveling on to the City of North Battleford. Popular scenic route with vistas of the North Saskatchewan River Valley is well used by residents for walking and cycling. The Trail from Battleford goes through a tunnel under the highway to get onto the west side of the bridge before climbing a hill to a spectacular lookout in a park in North Battleford.
