Spanning the St. John’s and Mount Pearl urban regions, the Grand Concourse provides an endless variety of natural, cultural and historic experiences in one of the oldest European settlement areas in North America. The Trans Canada Trail section begins at the Railway Coastal Museum on Water Street and heads west through the Waterford River Valley, historic and modern neighborhoods, quiet meadows and beautiful Bowering Park.
From the Trans Canada Trail you can access many other sections of the Grand Concourse which connect to historic and cultural areas of the city. Walkers' maps are available from the Grand Concourse Authority and in many of the city’s book stores and tourist outlets.
