I am really thrilled to read about these 3 new trail sections through some of the most beautiful parts of the country. This will be wonderful for us who live here and should also attract tourists from other countries.
I am pleased to have had a small part in it and will participate again, I am sure.

If this is the same trail that one could cross-countryski on, it will be wonderful. It made a great ski from south to north!

It would enhance these news items greatly if you would include a small map of the new section of trail, showing relation to nearby town/city. Thanks.

Agree that map of new trail would be very beneficial.

I was quite pleased to hear of the Banff Trail continuing through part of our fabulous Rockies. As recreational cyclists, my hubby and I look forward to cycling to Banff. We have never attempted it on the highway – too dangerous for us seniors. Now, we will have a chance to do something we have wanted to do for several years. I have participated financially for many years, so to see this happening is fantastic.

I am very disappointed to learn that no more names can be added to the Calgary kiosk and that there are no apparent plans to enlarge the current one or build a new one. Please rethink this decision.

Donors have been exceptionally supportive of the Trail in the Calgary area, which has resulted in this Pavilion being the first to reach full capacity for donor and honouree names. We’re so pleased with this tremendous support. We are assessing the expected life spans of all of our pavilions, recognizing that this capacity issue will become an eventuality in other communities as well. In all cases, including Calgary, the availability of funding for such structures, physical space constraints and buy-in from pavilion space landowners for new or expanded pavilions will be key considerations as we consider solutions. We will keep you posted! In the meantime, we will be recognizing Calgary and area donors in the Canmore pavilion or another pavilion of their choice.
