The Trail Locator Lives! Relaunch today!
For those of you who have breathlessly awaited the upgrade or others who were just plain annoyed at being unable to Navigate the Trail, some good news to start your weekend.
Thanks to our crack team of computer geeks, in particular Stéphane Simard, you can now enter a postal code, address or city anywhere in Canada and find the nearest TCT access point. The map format will be familiar to those who have previously used GoogleMaps.
Click here to check it out. To access the Trail Locator from our website, select the tab marked “The Trail” and click on “Navigate the Trail” on the left-hand side of the page. The pavilion search function is in development – we’ll let you know as soon as it’s up and running. In the meantime, have fun on the (virtual) Trans Canada Trail!
This circle of influential and visionary leaders will help us connect the Trail and all Canadians.
The Trail is within 30 minutes of over 80% of Canadians and runs through or near 1,000 communities.
Donate now to connect the Trail by 2017 – the 150th anniversary of Confederation!
