Trails Open Ontario kicks off season on International Trails Day

June 2, 2008 | 2 comments

Following a successful pilot project last year, the Ontario Heritage Trust has planned a series of more than 20 events across the province, starting on June 7th, International Trails Day.

Locations familiar to Trans Canada Trail users will be explored over the 2008 season – including Greater Sudbury, Caledon East, the Toronto Waterfront, and Uxbridge, to name a few. For a full list of dates and locations, visit Trails Open Ontario. The first event takes place next Saturday in Brampton.

  • We would like to know when the pavillion in Sault Ste. Marie will be opening as we have purchased permanet postings and wish to visit

  • Hi Murray,

We don’t have a confirmed date for Sault Ste. Marie as yet but I can tell you that the opening won’t be held before September. All individuals whose names are to be unveiled will receive written notification 3-4 weeks prior to the event. If you or the recipient(s) has moved during the past few years, you may wish to confirm your address with our office at 1-800-465-3636.

    Thank you for your support!
