A bike ride on the Slocan Valley Rail Trail in BC

The Slocan Valley Rail Trail held its AGM and celebrated International Trails Day on  June 3  with a bike tour of the north section of the trail. Olympic torch hand-off at Nanaimo, BC pavilion

Just before 7:00 pm local time on Saturday, October 31 the Olympic Torch was passed from one proud Torch bearer to the next at the Nanaimo Pavilion off Jingle Pot Road.
