St. Margarets Bay, NS, Celebrates 30km

October 26, 2007 | 0 comments

After 12 long years of hard work, the St. Margaret’s Bay Area Rails to Trails Association is ready to celebrate the official opening of 30 stunning kilometres linking Hubley to Hubbards. The event will be held on Saturday, October 27, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Festivities will include a fun run, a bicycle ride, prize draws, face painting and refreshments. For the full details, please visit the Association’s website. The event is free but organizers are asking that you bring a non-perishable food item in support of the St. Margaret’s Bay Food Bank.

At a mere 30 minutes from downtown Halifax, this event sounds like an excellent opportunity for a day trip!
