  • Trying to find a grant or funding to support the development and construction of an underpass under Highway #9 as part of a recreational trail in Rosedale BC. Would like to have contact with a representative from Trans Canada Trails to discuss this matter.

  • I would like to build the connection between, the ARC (Abandoned Railway Corridor) in my backyard (Chezzetcook), to the Musquodoboit Trailways and Atlantic View Trail. I’d like to help complete the TCT Phase 1 Greenway in Nova Scotia. Does the TCT provide any assistance to communicate this initiative in the local media to help bring in more enthusiastic volunteers? I would like to let my neighbours know that TCT will provide 50% of the trail building budget, which would be a great boost to the local economy and tourism industry.

  • Hello Gerry,
The underpass in question is not part of the Trans Canada Trail, now or in the future. It could possibly be part of Experience the Fraser if a route is found on the south side of the river.
BC Trails Vice-President Leon Lebrun responded to this inquiry.
