January 22, 2007 | 0 comments

The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency has stepped up to the plate big-time for trail development on Cape Breton. Construction has begun on a 92-kilometre section of trail between Port Hastings and Inverness. This project is being headed by the Cape Breton Island Pathways Association.

Check out the Cape Breton Island Pathways Association website. The photographs are lovely and the site is contains maps of trails all over the Island. Groups trying to establish trail will find useful links in the Resources section.
