“The Trans Canada Trail is a tribute to the Canadian people and to our beloved country. Where else could such a huge undertaking take place? Canada is an enormous country inhabited by few people from various backgrounds and yet it is managing to ‘pull off’ this miracle of having an 18,000 kilometre Trail linking our land, our people and our oceans… the Trans Canada Trail is a link to the past, present and future! It truly is a national legacy!”

- Mr. and Mrs. Vellinga from Torrance, Ontario

  • I am pleased and proud of our Trans Canada Trail.I was wondering when we are going to be able to click on a certain pavillion and actually see our names? This would be an asset to the site and generate business. I wanted to gift a friend of helping build a piece of the trail with his name on the Tuknoyuktuk pavillion. It’s a place he is very fond of…but he’d never get to see it so it’s not even on my list of things to give him.
