Stretching 30,000 kilometres from coast to coast to coast, the Trans Canada Trail connects people with Canada’s coastal shorelines, mountain pathways, quiet forests and countless places in between.
But every season brings new challenges. This fall, local trail organizations are repairing damage caused by storms. They’re clearing debris, improving accessibility and preparing to restore Trail sections affected by wildfires.
