Jenna Sie
One of Trans Canada Trail’s greatest assets is a comprehensive, constantly evolving Geographic Information Systems (GIS) map that provides rich data for all Trail users. As Coordinator, GIS, Jenna supports data registration from her colleagues, and assists with data management for the interactive map, which is accessible to everyone at tctrail.ca. Jenna holds a Geology degree from the University of Calgary and a Geographic Information Systems degree from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Her career includes broad industry experience in GIS and data management.
Passionate about food, friends, family and her dog, Jenna can make a mean taco out of any type of leftovers in the fridge. She lives close to her favourite section of the Trans Canada Trail – Fish Creek Provincial Park Trail – which she has enjoyed throughout her life. Here, the Trail winds through cottonwood trees and wildflowers along the Bow River, through the heart of Calgary.
