Great Canadian Hike: Great Experiences, Great Prizes Were Won

trans canada trail branded socks mug and bag

It’s a wrap! From September 20 to October 19, 2025, over 2,000 participants joined together to hike, bike, paddle and roll from coast to coast, logging kilometres and raising funds for Trans Canada Trail.

We’re sending out our sincere thanks to all those who joined in the fall fun by participating in the Great Canadian Hike and logging their kilometres. You helped raise awareness about the benefits of getting outside and staying active, and you helped connect people across Canada along the Trail.

Congratulations to our contest winners, who won great prizes from Columbia Sportswear, Garmin and Manulife.

What our contest prize winners are saying

“Honestly this was not expected. We had fun promoting the challenge and the club pulled through!” — Michelle with Russell Run Club.

“Everyone is really happy!” — Joelle with Toyota Du Beau
