Kelly Verberne

Kelly helps the Philanthropy team to run like a well-oiled machine. In her role as Manager, Philanthropy Operations she improves processes, manages databases and identifies best practices to support fundraising for Trans Canada Trail’s exceptional programs.

An avid learner, Kelly brings a business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) accreditation, and experience in the business and non-profit sectors to her role. She is currently working toward her certifications in both Salesforce and Microsoft Teams.
“You don’t know what you don’t know” is a favourite mantra, as it reminds her there is always more to learn, about ourselves and the world around us.

Kelly feeds her sense of curiosity through podcasts like 99% Invisible, Everything is Alive and Unlocking Us, which she sometimes listens to while walking on Toronto’s Pan Am Path, her local section of the Trans Canada Trail. She is eager to explore and discover new favourite sections in the future!
