Trevor Hunsberger
One of the Trans Canada Trail’s greatest attributes is its ability to foster a sense of connection between people from every province and territory in Canada. In an era where more of us—Trans Canada Trail staff included—are working remotely, opportunities to come together are more important than ever before. That’s where Trevor Hunsberger works his interpersonal and creative magic, blending his people skills and his broadcasting know-how to design events to inform, inspire and unite the people who care about the Trans Canada Trail. From much-anticipated, in-person staff retreats to community Trail Cleanup days, Trevor looks after all the details to ensure a great experience for everyone.
Trevor holds a diploma in Broadcasting from Niagara College in Welland, Ontario. His multimedia career has taken him around the world, and now Trevor is excited about seeing more of Canada through the beauty of the Trans Canada Trail. He lives near the Kissing Bridge Trail section, which follows the line of a former railway through rural communities, rivers and wetlands, and passes close to the West Montrose Kissing Bridge, the last covered bridge in Ontario.
