Carolyn Chenmeyer
Carolyn brings more than 15 years in the non-profit sector to her role as Coordinator of Annual Giving, communicating with donors and supporting the Trans Canada Trail fundraising team in thoughtful donor outreach. Skilled in annual fund and database management as well as strategic prospecting, she manages the TrailKeeper monthly donor program, which provides vital support for the upkeep and expansion of the Trans Canada Trail.
Originally from the U.S., Carolyn spent most of her life in Northern California, where she worked for a conservation organization preserving the parks and trails of the California redwoods region, as well as a range of other non-profits. She holds a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Richmond.
The woods are Carolyn’s happy place, and she welcomes every opportunity to spend a day camping or hiking, ideally near a creek or lake. Fortunately, she now lives five minutes from the spectacular Waterfront Trail section of the Trans Canada Trail, which offers her a peaceful place to walk and connect with nature in the urban setting of the Greater Toronto Area. She is also an accomplished pie baker, much to the delight of her family and friends.
