International Trails Day 2025

Date and time

June 7, 2025

Location

Multiple locations across Canada

Join us for a nationwide celebration of International Trails Day on the Trans Canada Trail!

Celebrate International Trails Day 2025 on the world’s longest trail! This year, we’re teaming up with some of our incredible partners across the country for a day of events to celebrate our trails and the dedicated volunteers who care for them.

Every year the first Saturday in June marks International Trails Day, an opportunity to shine a light on our trails and what they mean to our communities. On June 7, you’re invited to join local volunteers and members of the Trans Canada Trail team at one of 13 locations across Canada for a variety of events that will allow you to explore the Trail and give back to your community.

Each location will offer its own unique way to engage with the Trail – from fun runs to tree planting to guided trail tours – with plenty of food and entertainment along the way!
