Ginette here, and I’ve got a tail-wagging announcement that‘s going to add a whole lot of joy to the season: the #Blahs2Ahhhs24 contest! 

Imagine this: a winter wonderland where we celebrate all things snowy and splendid, and guess what? I’m inviting all of you to join this chilly-chic adventure! It’s not just a contest; it’s a chance to make winter as delightful as a belly rub.   

Every week, I’ll strike a pose on sections of the Trans Canada Trail, and I want to see your winter adventures too. Whether you’re in the middle of a wild snowball fight, making the quirkiest snow angels, or just enjoying the snowy scenery, snap a pic and join the fun.

Here’s how to enter

From January 15 to February 29, 2024 

• Post your photos or videos on social media and show me your winter adventures by using the hashtags #Blahs2Ahhhs24 and #TransCanadaTrail 
  • Suggested post: Hey Ginette, I’m turning my winter blahs into ahhhs on (insert local trail name)! #Blahs2Ahhhs24 #TransCanadaTrail 

That’s it – you’ll be automatically entered into the draw for a chance to win fantastic weekly prizes, AND be part of the grand prize draw!

WEEKLY PRIZES

Each week there will be three random draws. 

 Week 1, 3, 5 and 7: 

• Draw #1: One (1) Trans Canada Trail prize pack #1, which includes: one pair of hiking socks from The Great Canadian Sox Co., one patch, one winter toque, one hiking buff, one baseball cap, one tote bag and one water bottle, valued at C$76.24

 Week 2, 4 and 6:

One lucky winner will receive:

SELECTION OF WEEKLY PRIZE AND GRAND PRIZE WINNERS   

Weekly Prizes: Random draws will be conducted each week of the Contest from all eligible entries received before the draw is conducted. All draws for Weekly Prizes will be conducted by Trans Canada Trail personnel at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (E.S.T.) on the Draw Date set out in the Contest Rules. A person is eligible to win only one Weekly Prize per week.   

Grand Prize: There will be one (1) Grand Prize winner selected by a random draw from all eligible entries received before the draw is conducted. The draw for the Grand prize will be conducted by Trans Canada trail personnel at 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (E.S.T.) on the Draw Date set out in the Contest Rules.
