Camille Roy-Tremblay
As the French translator and copywriter, Camille ensures that all Trans Canada Trail initiatives are accessible to French-speaking communities across Canada. She holds a degree in English from Sherbrooke University and a master’s degree in Translation and Terminology from Laval University, and since completing her studies, Camille has gained experience in advertising, tourism and nonprofits, both within organizations and as a freelancer. Her work is driven by the belief that access to free natural spaces improves communities.
When Camille isn’t translating (or talking about translation), she’s probably somewhere on a mountain. Rock climbing, skiing, biking, running, hiking… there is little that can stand in the way of her desire to spend all her free time being active outdoors.
Her favourite section of the Trans Canada Trail may not be the most adventurous, but it is the one she uses every day without fail: the Grandes-Fourches, in Quebec, where she lives.
