Juliette Prouse
As Trans Canada Trail’s Chief Administrative Officer, Juliette Prouse leads and supports key organizational functions that are essential to Trans Canada Trail’s day-to-day operations. This includes financial management and strategic planning, IT and information management, human resources, administrative leadership, and compliance, insurance and legal affairs.
With more than 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles across finance and operations, Juliette has served not-for-profit organizations in the conservation, child welfare and education sectors. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds an MBA from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University.
Juliette’s career has been defined by a commitment to financial stewardship of both public and private funding, the cultivation of high-performing teams, and the advancement of a collaborative and continuously improving operational culture.
A dedicated volunteer, Juliette has served on several not-for-profit boards and has been actively involved with local trail associations.
Having lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Japan, and West Africa, Juliette became a Canadian citizen in 2001. Inspired by Canada’s natural beauty, she developed a deep passion for the outdoors and now spends her free time hiking, mountain biking, and skiing in the Canadian Rockies, where she lives in British Columbia — just steps from the Elk Valley Trail section of the Trans Canada Trail.
