There are already plenty of great reasons to hike, bike, paddle or roll during the Great Canadian Hike, but here’s another: you could win some incredible prizes along the way!

From September 1–30, get active on trails in your community, log your progress and raise funds in support of Trans Canada Trail. By participating, you’ll be entered for a chance to win great prizes. And the more you participate, the more ballots you can earn.

Even better, by joining in the fun you’ll be helping to protect and maintain the Trans Canada Trail. At more than 30,000 kilometres long, it’s the world’s longest trail network, reaching every province and territory and connecting all three of Canada’s coastlines.

What’s up for grabs?

Early Registration Draw: one lucky winner won a Garmin Forerunner® 70 smartwatch.

Instagram Giveaway: follow @transcanadatrail and @garmincanada on Instagram and watch for a collab post on September 14. Leave a comment on the post by Sept. 18 and you’ll be entered to win a Garmin Forerunner® 170 Music smartwatch.

Grand Prize Draws: on October 2, we’ll be holding five Grand Prize draws for individual participants and two for teams. Prize packs will include items from Trans Canada Trail, Columbia Sportswear and Garmin. The Grand prizes are open to all participants that meet the terms and conditions – even if you win one of the earlier prizes.
