Toyota Canada Fund for Trail Sustainability

Moving toward a more sustainable future — on Canada’s trails and beyond

Working Together for the Trail’s Future

Toyota Canada’s investment in Trans Canada Trail is a commitment to creating a more sustainable future. The Toyota Canada Fund for Trail Sustainability will support numerous climate focused initiatives that will ensure the long-term resilience of Canada’s nationwide trail system.

Through this partnership, Toyota Canada is helping Trans Canada Trail take a leading role in future-proofing Canada’s trails. This fund will support ecological restoration through strategic tree planting, climate emergency funding to restore damaged trails, ongoing trail care, and pioneering research to build climate-smart trails with strengthened resilience.

The Toyota Canada Fund
for Trail Sustainability

supports four core initiatives

Trails and Sustainability

Trails are not immune to the widespread effects of climate change, but they can also be a vital part of the solution. By investing in sustainable trails, this fund is promoting reduced emissions, preserved greenspaces and extreme weather mitigation on Canada’s trail networks and beyond.
