Grand re-opening of the Seguin Recreational Trail in Central Ontario

March 10, 2009 | 0 comments

On Thursday, March 12 at 2:00 pm the Park-to-Park Trail Association will celebrate the re-opening of 12 bridges along the Seguin Recreational Trail.  Those who wish to join in the fun should meet at 2836 Highway 518, west of Sprucedale.

The Seguin Recreational Trail is a vital link in the Trans Canada Trail between Huntsville and North Bay and brings an estimated $7 million dollars to the area’s economy annually. Funding for the bridges was a co-operative effort among provincial and municipal governments, recreation clubs, businesses and the Trans Canada Trail.
