May 22, 2007 | 2 comments

PE Islanders braved a rainy Victoria day weekend to cycle the Confederation Trail and raise money for micro-lending in Africa. Read all about the 3rd Annual Tip-to-Tip on MaryMcKay’s blog. You will be entertained…and inspired.

In the year 2000 PEI became the first province in Canada to complete its section of the Trans Canada Trail, known in the province as the Confederation Trail. Visit Island Trails to find out more about this scenic 400-km trail network on the “gentle Island”.

  • Hi Gail,

Tip-to-Tip has been held annually since May 2005 on the Victoria Day Weekend. You can visit http://www.thetownshipsproject.org/ for more information such as details of the route, how to prepare and photos of previous years.

You may wish to contact Grace Blackette, Events Coordinator for Island Trails at gjblackette@pei.sympatico.ca for confirmation of the 2009 event.

    Happy Trails!
