New Point Zero East

Cape Spear, Newfoundland, is the easternmost point in North America and TCT is proud to announce that, as of last Thursday, it became The Great Trail’s new Point Zero East. A new partnership with the East Coast Trail Association made connection of this section of Trail possible.
TCT Chair Paul LaBarge, along with ECTA President Randy Murphy, attended a celebration event at the historic Railway Coastal Museum in St. John’s to mark a new Point Zero East for The Great Trail. The event was followed by a hike out at Cape Spear, where the sun was shining and the wind out in full force!
