Recap on the World Trails Conference

Eleanor McMahon, our President & CEO, and Mathieu Roy, our Vice-President, Chief Trails Experience Officer, were recently in Skiathos, Greece, for the 2022 World Trails Conference. Alongside 118 international speakers from six continents, they presented on a range of subjects, from the impact of climate change on trails to the importance of trails during the pandemic, securing government funding, and more.

Eleanor shares that she and Mathieu had great conversations with colleagues about a variety of topics and shared issues, including the changing climate, using digital technology to enhance the trail user experience, and elevating the work of the trail sector globally, among others.
