Leigh Peters
Leigh is a seasoned legal and business professional known for her dynamic leadership, excellent communication skills, and extensive expertise in corporate/commercial law and executive management. She is a proven C-suite executive, lawyer and former successful entrepreneur who has worked across a diverse group of industries in myriad senior roles.
Outside of her busy career, Leigh is deeply committed to community service and volunteering. She has dedicated over two decades to the Calgary Stampede as an active volunteer and Chair of the Downtown Attractions Entertainment Committee. Her deep passion and enthusiasm to giving back is evident through her ongoing contributions to organizations such as UNICEF Canada and the International Women’s Forum, where she contributes her time and expertise to positively impact the community.
Leigh is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds their ICD.D designation. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta, complemented by a Master of Arts from the University of Guelph, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from the University of Calgary.
Leigh joined the Trans Canada Trail Foundation Board in 2024.
