Great Canadian Hike 2021: Promotion Toolkit

#GreatCanadianHike

Fall is just around the corner, which means the Great Canadian Hike is too!

Now in its second year, the Great Canadian Hike is an annual national challenge that encourages everyone to get out into nature and embrace their local trails.

From humble strolls to epic adventures, September 15 to October 31 is your chance to walk, roll, paddle or bike, and experience the Trans Canada Trail while participating in the Great Canadian Hike.

This year, we’re calling on you – and everyone in all 13 provinces and territories – to DISCONNECT to RECONNECT! Let’s all press pause on our devices and reconnect with nature and to one another by collectively spending 28,000 hours on Canada’s 28,000 km-long national trail.

This toolkit includes messaging and social media content that will help increase awareness and engagement, as well as extend your local trail’s visibility during the Hike
