Michele McKenzie

Michele McKenzie is a corporate director and business advisor with strong marketing expertise. She is Co-founder of The Forge Institute, and former President and CEO of the federal Crown corporation Canadian Tourism Commission (Destination Canada). Michele is a member of the Statistics Canada Departmental Audit Committee and also sits on the boards of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, Invest in Canada, and Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.

Michele is an avid hiker. She and her husband Chris split their time between their home in Mississauga and their cottage in Nova Scotia.

Michele joined the Trans Canada Trail Board in 2017.
