Justin Fauteux
Justin liaises with journalists and media outlets across the country to help them understand the value and impact of the Trans Canada Trail. His career as a reporter and editor at The Globe and Mail, the Waterloo Region Record and Pagemasters North America, plus public relations roles in academia and the private sector, has prepared him well for his fast-paced role as Manager of Media and Public Relations. He holds a degree in Communication Studies and English from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Justin lives in Hamilton, Ontario, close to the Hamilton-Brantford Rail Trail, where he walks daily with his dog, Sawyer. Thirty Twenty Ten, The Press Box, and Plain English are on his weekly podcast playlist. A self-described “armchair urbanist,” he is passionate about making the world less car-centric, preferring to navigate his city by bike as much as possible.
