Kim Morency
Translation is an art, one that involves skill and sensitivity. For national organizations like Trans Canada Trail, good translation is an essential part of communicating with people across the country in both official languages. Fortunately, we have Kim Morency. As French Copywriter & Translator, Kim brings a thoughtful, experienced perspective to Trans Canada Trail’s francophone content strategies. She creates engaging content in French for all marketing channels and provides timely translation of English content to ensure simultaneous delivery of content in both official languages. She holds a specialized graduate diploma in translation from the Université de Montréal and is also a licensed nutritionist with the Order of Dieticians-Nutritionists of Quebec.
Kim lives on the beautiful island of Montreal, steps away from the Avenue Christophe-Colomb section of the Trans Canada Trail. Her favourite part of the Trail, however, is the Pioneer Footpath near her hometown in Labrador, the site of many family walks and childhood adventures. The Trail connects seven villages between L’Anse Au Clair and Pinware, and offers breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River and Newfoundland, with lookouts for whales and icebergs.
