Omid Kahriz brings a distinguished career in non-profit governance and financial management to his role as Chief Financial Officer at Trans Canada Trail. Before joining the organization, Omid was CEO of KND Consulting, where he advised non-profit organizations on strategic and financial transformations. He also served as Executive Director of Corporate Services and CFO at Curling Canada and held senior financial positions with the Department of National Defence and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Throughout his career, Omid has been recognized for his ability to drive financial efficiency while supporting mission-focused growth. His expertise has helped organizations navigate complex fiscal landscapes, fostering resilience and long-term sustainability. Omid’s leadership style is rooted in collaboration, transparency, and a deep commitment to community impact.
