Winter Fun for All Ages: Ice Skating on the Sentier Glacé in Magog, Quebec
Looking for fun ways to get yourself and your friends and loved ones of all ages outside and moving this winter? We’ve got a wonderfully wintery suggestion for you: the Sentier Glacé (translation: ice trail) in Magog, Quebec, offers a 2.8-kilometre ice-skating trail, following La Montagnarde section of the Trans Canada Trail.
Glide along the Trail and take in the exceptional views of Lake Memphremagog and the surrounding areas. The Eastern Townships region of Quebec is known for its beautiful lakes, rolling hills and picturesque landscapes, and the views from the Trail don’t disappoint. After your skate, warm up with a snack or drink from one of several excellent cafés and restaurants in town. At both ends of the ice-skating trail, in the Cabana parking area and at Pointe-Merry Park, you’ll find warming chalets.
