Share your Trail Memories

I’d like to tell you a story about The Great Trail of Canada.

My husband, Fritz, and our two boys were cycling through a remote valley on the Trail at. Way above us, a set of train tracks crossed the valley.

That’s when we heard a rumbling sound. We looked up to see a train crossing the bridge overhead – and the conductor hanging out the window, waving and grinning! The train whistle echoed through the valley as we waved back.

In the middle of nowhere, we still found that human connection. This is what the Trail is about to me.
