Transforming Blahs to Ahhhs on the Trans Canada Trail This Winter

From mid-January to mid-March 2025, our Blahs to Ahhhs campaign once again challenged nature lovers and trail users across Canada to transform their winter blahs into ahhhs by getting outside and getting moving along the Trans Canada Trail. And you delivered!
Embracing the winter season
Trail adventurers from coast to coast to coast gave winter their all: skiing, snowshoeing, winter hiking, building snow creatures … the list goes on. From family fun on the Trans Canada Trail to fat-tire biking and more, adventures were had! We were thrilled to see your stories shared across social media, showcasing your outdoor journeys—and showing how winter is the perfect time to connect with nature and one another.

Snowshoeing on the Trail in Wakefield, Quebec
In February, we hosted a snowshoeing event in partnership with Sentiers Wakefield Trails. With a healthy amount of snow on the ground and plenty more falling, attendance was great, connections were made, and many smiles were spotted on this invigorating outdoor adventure, in a truly beautiful setting. Thank you to Sentiers Wakefield Trails for helping us host an exceptional event.
Finding outdoor inspiration with the #Blahs2Ahhhs25 Generator
To help inspire your outdoor adventuring, we built a #Blahs2Ahhhs25 Generator, where trail users could spin the wheel and find their winter fun. We loved seeing you put our suggestions into action along a Trail section near you.
